About

Throughout our lives, we all experience an array of challenges, changes, trauma, grief, loss, and many other transitions and hardships that occur. As a therapist, Zoe understands that we often need someone to help us along the way in order to provide comfort and support and move closer toward healing.

She is passionate about working with individuals, families, and couples, with a strong belief that everyone deserves to be seen and heard. Both from her professional and personal experience, she understands taking the first steps in this process can feel overwhelming; perhaps even just coming to a place of accepting help is frightening. Therefore, creating a space of safety and comfort is a priority for building a strong therapeutic relationship.

Over the past several years Zoe has been using cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, mindfulness-based treatment, motivational interviewing and a variety of others techniques when working with eating disorders and athletes, families and couples. It is her goal to provide clients, a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their emotions, develop healthier relationships, and build lasting recovery skills.

Her dedication to her continued work with veterans and trauma survivors stems from a combination of personal and professional experience. This provided her with a profound feeling of duty to serve those who have served and those who have experienced trauma. She uses evidence-based treatment techniques and trauma-informed care to provide a warm and safe environment to have very difficult and emotional conversations.

Lastly, Zoe believes in the great importance of support, whether that be family, friends, or someone else a person deems important. She welcomes those who walk alongside someone else's journey and helps them process the difficulties and emotions that can often arise during these times.

When not virtually in her office you can find her either outside enjoying the fresh air with her family and dogs at the park, checking out fun festivals, or going to or staying home to watch a good baseball or hockey game. She also enjoys going to theme parks, the beach or sitting down to play some videos games.
