Yanique Cox, LCSW, has over 10 years’ experience in social work practice with children, adolescents, and adults. Her goal is to continue to use Motivational Interviewing techniques, Evidence-Based Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with her clients in order to help them address individual/family issues, homelessness, addiction and/or mental health issues.
As a therapist, Yanique helps her clients identify their triggers and develop coping skills to address their problems. She utilizes client-centered therapy to support, guide, and enable her clients to develop solutions to their problems. She assists them in tackling issues such as depression, anxiety, stress management, coping with life changes, and self-esteem and confidence. Her purpose is to help clients redefine who they are and make meaningful changes.
Yanique enjoys being outside in nature. Walking in the park and lounging on a beach keeps a smile on her face.
