Why Healthcare

Bekah has always known she wanted to work in the mental health field as she grew up with family members who have struggled with mental health issues themselves. Bekah wanted to put herself in a position where she could better support those who are experiencing their own mental health challenges as she witnessed the many barriers her own family members went through.
Bekah believes this has given her a first-hand account of the suffering and challenges that can go along with having a mental health diagnosis. Bekas was able to develop empathy, compassion, and a passion for working in the mental health field because of these things.
