Why Healthcare
Melissa became a social worker because she believes small steps can become big gains. Melissa also believes that we all need help, understanding, and information sometimes and that reaching out is a strength. Sometimes, we just don't know where to turn or who to turn to; a different ear, a different voice, or a different interpretation makes things feel less overwhelming. For Melissa, this is why mental healthcare is important for everyone- no matter what age, no matter what circumstance.
