About
Marissa utilizes different approaches such as CBT and holistic therapies to meet clients where they are at. Marissa enjoys helping and seeing the changes that people can make within themselves. She has a versatile background, from working in detox with clients who struggle with substance abuse problems to outpatient clinics where clients range from children to older adults. In addition, she has experience working and leading group settings where the clients can share their experiences and see how they can relate to people within the group. Marissa believes in understanding and knowing that anything worth something big in life can take a long time is something to remember. As for hobbies, Marissa enjoys singing, which is why Music Therapy is close to her heart, and she has done recitals as a child. In addition, she enjoys reading and learning new topics every day and how makeup can help with being unique and creative.
