About
Oftentimes, there are parts of our story that are difficult to talk about, and you may feel fearful, guilty, or shameful of sharing. As a therapist, it is important for Janaye to provide a safe space for you to foster positive change. She believes that a successful therapeutic experience is dependent on the client-therapist relationship. She strives to create a relationship built on mutual respect, trust, and care where you feel seen, heard, and valued. Where you can share without judgement and work towards being your best, most authentic self. Through individualized, evidence-based approaches, she assists people in their journey to achieve their goals. She is passionate about working with people struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, postpartum, parenting, relationship dynamics, substance use, and other life-related stressors.
“If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can’t survive.” –Brene Brown
