About
In Eric's previous employment he focused on helping families and clients reach a new sense of homeostasis through an eclectic use of modalities. These modalities range from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Narrative, and Systems approaches. Eric does not believe in any single modality, and will work with you in order to find what is most helpful. Eric looks forward to working with his clients, in order to develop achievable goals that are mutually agreed upon, so that clients can regain their sense of self and control. Eric's own self care includes being an avid runner, rock climber, video game player, and Netflix show watcher, because life is all about balance.

Why Healthcare
Eric first entered into the mental health field as an intern in Connecticut during his undergraduate studies. During this time he mostly worked with the LGBTQ community, as well as students. After graduating he went on to be a teacher's assistant at a middle school, and felt as though he wanted to be able to do more for the students who were struggling in the school system. After a couple of years of being a teacher's assistant he applied to graduate school to become a clinical social worker.
