About
Andrew believes you can realize the change you wish to see in yourself. Whether it's becoming the person you have always wanted to be or creating the relationship you have longed for, he takes into account every facet of life that speaks to the possibility and potential of what can be. Andrew considers how experiences have shaped us and how our thoughts and feelings about these experiences define our values, beliefs, and sense of meaning. With him, you will journey through these parts of your life to come to a place of better understanding and purpose.
Andrew holds the importance of stories in our lives and how they shape and define us, utilizing narrative therapy to draw out how we have made sense of ourselves from experience and then re-author ourselves in a way that realizes how we want to be. He holds meaning and purpose through an Existential approach, recognizing how, within the framing of our existence, we can find the value of change. Andrew places importance on emotions and meaning with couples through emotionally focused therapy while providing skills and techniques through the Gottman Method to bring partners into alignment with one another, seeing their relationship in meaningful ways. Andrew is a practitioner of movement daily, drawing upon his own experience through Yoga and exercise to help create new relationships with ourselves and the body as a whole. He also places importance on having a connection with nature, finding it to be a place where he truly feels centered.
