About
Brittany’s experience working as a domestic violence counselor and advocate gave her insight into the ways in which trauma can keep people stuck in repetitive cycles, whether experienced in childhood or playing out in adult relationships. She believes in creating a partnership with each client, in which respect for their unique needs and goals shapes the approaches she uses in therapy. Her work is multidisciplinary, drawing from Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems, Phase-oriented Trauma Therapy, Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and above all, person-centered, nonjudgmental compassion for her client’s well-being.
Brittany enjoys cooking, starting craft projects she may never finish, unwinding with trash TV, and spending quality time with both feline and human family and friends.

Why Healthcare
Brittany believes everyone deserves access to a mental health professional who will see, hear, and deeply consider their needs in a way that authentically and realistically considers how to truly care for oneself, experience joy, and lead a more fulfilling life. She is inspired by the courage, vulnerability, and honesty it takes for clients to entrust her with things they may never have been able to say to anyone before, maybe even to themselves. She is dedicated to helping people transform profound experiences of pain and trauma into new experiences of growth.
